PSP and PS3 – How much compatibility?
I have a PS3 and may get a PSP. I am surprised that I have not easily been able to find any info on what sort of compatibility there is between the two. So, here are a bunch of questions. If anyone can help me undersand the issue better, I thank you.
Can I swap pictures, video, etc. between the two with the wireless connection?
I know I can connect to the Internet with a PSP and wireless router, but right now, my computer and PS3 are connected using Ethernet cable, and I’d like to keep it that way since I’m a bandwidth pig. So, can I connect to the Internet with my PSP by going “through” my PS3’s cable, while my PSP is still communicating wirelessly with the PS3? I suppose that for it to do this, the PS3 would essentially have to act as a router itself, but maybe it can, I don’t know.
If that won’t work, can anyone give me any suggestion about how I might connect up my three devices without spending too much cash or slowing down my computer and PS3’s connection to the Internet. (I get a lovely 10 gigs downstream.)
Finally – can you you put PS3 savegames on your PSP, so you could take them with you to other places?
I’m not super-technical, but I should be able to understand any A/V setup options you may know about. Thanks again.
