Is the Slim PS3 louder than regular PS3s?
I bought a slim as a second PS3, and because it was reported that it made half as much noise when playing BDs...but mine is loud as hell!
I used to think my 40GB was pretty loud, but whenever I turn on my Slim it immediately kicks in a fan and sounds even worse when a disc is inside. With my 40GB, it makes no noise at start up, and you can hardly hear a disc being read. Are the slims noisy, or did I get stuck with a loud one? |
