Next month Target stores do their semi-annual store reset and will be setting up approximately double the shelf space for Blu ray over HD DVD (6 versus 3).

I am sad to hear this as well as many others will be. I asked my source why and he told me that Target's buyer made the decision and the store follow what they decide.

IMO: the choice for the larger BD section is based on early 2007 data when BD had the momentum in feb/march/april. BEFORE the Paramount/DW announcement and other things that got the momentum shifted the other way in favor of HD DVD.

I think that's funny, "shifted in favor of HD-DVD." Since when is it in your favor when you are still losing weeks even when you release major hits against the other guy releasing nothing?
