Just building 1st dedicated HT , 7.1 inwall/ceiling setup . Already have Onkyo 706 and LG 50PS30 , will be getting higher end LG , Samsung or Panny BD player later on when finished build .
Question is what format will be played if a movie , for instance " Dinosaur " regular DVD release that has ' Digital Sound ' , ' DD ' , 'DTS ' and ' THX ' on the cover . Im assuming the 706 will be doing the decoding not the BD player , so does it just pick the best one it thinks and giver ? I just read big daddys post and my brain hurts but i learned alot i hope ![]() Sorry if this is ridiculous question , trying to figure it out before build is done ,want to get most out of system i have and try to understand most of what the heck its doing heh Last edited by Crispy; 12-27-2009 at 04:26 AM. |
