Windows 7 keeps dropping internet connection

I have been having problems with Windows 7 dropping internet connection on a consistent basis while using a browser (IE 8 and Firefox) and wondering if anyone else was or has had the same problem.

I did do a google search and found out that some people had experienced the same issue, but there was no clear cut solution. The common thing that I did find is that the problem seems to occur with NVIDIA chipsets boards.

Anyone else having this problem? If so, can you comment on a solution that worked for you? Thanks in advance.
