Need Help on a question

Where can I find a chart that shows % of movie releases for say 2007 by studio.

Preferably, a chart that isn't made by the BDA.

here's why, I'm in a discussion and here's his point:

Both formats hanging around for long would not be good for Sony and its PS3. They can't tout it as a high-def movie player...because it doesn't play a LOT of movies (3 of the biggest movie studios are Warner, Universal, and Paramount - and Universal and Paramount are HD-DVD exclusive), and it doesn't have a lot of games (what? I thought it was supposed to be a game console lol...)

The Chinese might have a role to play as well...if they can make cheaper and cheaper machines, might sway the average joe. And they're close to breaking the anti-piracy mechanisms...so all hell will break loose when that happens.

So if you're just trying to play around and wait out the war...HD-DVD is MUCH cheaper to get into. Either way you'll miss out on a lot of hi-def movies, but the 98 buck HD-DVD player mentioned above is also a great DVD up-converter so you can play the DVD versions of Blu Ray exclusives. 100 bucks will get you the player, and rent the movies. At most you lose 100 bucks.
