I am a long time HP nut, I admitt this even thought I am closer to Dumbledor age then Harry Potter. First off my BD Player is able to show the original HP disks just fine, I don't know how much better they will look in BD. I am waiting for the full 7 disk set and that's that. Then there is JK Rowling's "outing" of Dumbledor. What would Ritta Skeeter say about this??? She already spoke of him and Harrys relationship as questionable, now JK has thrown fire whiskey on the flames! She never talked about sex in the books, at least not much, we never knew or were told about anyones sexuality, now she drops this bombshell, this casts and ugly and unwanted light on Harry and his beloved headmaster, what was she thinking indeed?

I think an underlying theme about the whole series is tolerance. The tolerance between magical and muggle. Between Gryffindor and Slytherin, man and lycanthrope. The least tolerant of all was Voldemort. While I was a little "wha?" with the outing, I feel like Rowling is saying you all liked Dumbledore, didn't you? Is this new information diminishing his greatness? How is your own tolerance and understanding? Hopefully this news is an extra layer of depth that will in time be well appreciated.
