Hey All,
I currently have a B&W MT30 Kit with the PV1 sub andOnkyo 608 and I must admit I am very happy with the set up. I only had this setup for a month.. However I keep thinking that I am missing something by not having the 683's as front L and R and the C speaker as HTM61.. My idea is to keep the PV1 sub and upgrade the fronts with the 683's and a centre speaker as HTM61 and use the 2 x M1's I will remove from the front to the back to have a 7.1 surrond setup. So in theory it will be as: Front Left and Right: B&W 683's Centre: B&W HTM1 Rear surround: 4 x M1 Sats in a 7.1 setup Please can someone tell me this: 1 - Will I really notice much diference or will it just be splashing money for no reason? 2 - Will this be a good match with the PV1 sub and the M1 sats as rears 3 - Or Shall I just shut up and stick with the set up I already have and maybe in future buy another 2 x M1 and add to the rears for a 7.1 setup? PS: My Lounge is fairly big. Its 7 metres by 4 metres.. Please see pics ![]() |
