PS: My Lounge is fairly big. Its 7 metres by 4 metres.. Please see pics

I have a set of five M-1's (no sub) for a bedroom setup, and think they're great...... with that said, the 600's would be an improvement, and I certainly wouldn't consider it "splashing money for no reason" Plus, you move from a 5.1 to 7.1 which has it's benefits (although I'm not a "HUGE" proponent of 7.1, but think it's nice to have)

Adding 2 additional M-1's isn't a terrible idea either however....... How much music do you listen to? The 600's will certainly out-shine the Minis in that aspect....... Do you watch movies at "reference" level????

I have the 685's for surrounds, and the range they have in comparison to my M-1's for the bedroom setup is quite impressive......

Another suggestion, would be to pair your speakers with a warmer sounding amp..... or at least plan on it in the future!
