I wonder, If the game is a sequel to the movies then why is the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in the game. Wasn't he reduced to goo in GB 1?

I just hope that they do 2 things for this:

1) Max out the quality for the PS3 and not cross-convert it from a 360 version.

2) Focus on the writing, the jokes and humor, etc... that is what sells Ghostbusters. As long as it also keeps true to the feel and story of the movies and have decent graphics as well.

I thought I heard in another article or two that the videos of gameplay footage are not for this title. I think the gameplay footage was a prototype built to test a gaming engine. I don't know one way or the other, but... figured I'd at least let people know that this may not be in fact game footage of the game these guys are working on.

I am so disappointed, I know they have tried for years to get this one off the ground, but it looks like it will never happen as a movie.

I think there will be two versions of this game. A ps2 and wii version and 360/PS3 version. There was a huge article in Game informer about this game and it looks sweet. Return of Stay Puff marshmellow man and SLIMER!!!!!

The article says that all the original actors will be back to do voice overs for the game.

Yeah, that article in Game Informer this month was AWESOME. Lots of details about gameplay, story, etc. Lots of pictures. This'll either be a fantastic game or a fantastic disappointment.

It says in the IGN article that the game will run at 1080p with FSAA.

I hope they know what they're letting themselves in for if they can't manage that at a decent framerate.

sweet. Those first two screenshots remind me of the hotel scene from the first movie where Slimer get's Bill Murray. Is that just coincidence, or are there some inter-movie mixing for gameplay?

So I would assume the objective in this game is to go catch ghosts right? (Hence the name) Sounds fun, I'll buy it. Too bad according to the dev, it could've of look better. Thanks alot 360!

Oh yeah, the setting in those screenshots do remind me of the movies.

Apparently its set after Ghostbusters 2, 1991 think. Yeah those first two look straight out the movie.

they do use some of the same locales in the game (i think only in early missions)

SLimer escapes the containment unit and heads back to the hotel, and you go after the librarian ghost from the first movie - "The one that got away"
