I was thinking about picking it up.
Has anyone played it that could help throw there 2 cents into the ring and let me know what they think?

No online Co-Op play *in the PC version*...

There's a whole thread about it in the PS3 forum, you can probably browse through the most recent few pages to get a general idea. The general consensus seems to be that it's good, but not great. Definitely worth a rental if you're interested, and maybe worth a purchase if you're a huge Ghostbusters fan. The story mode takes about 8-12 hours to play through, and then the online play can last forever, I guess.

personally sliding down the pole in the fire house is worth the $60....

single player is short but has replay value

multiplayer is a blast...survival is a ton of fun!!!
