Updated the OP with the new images, deleted all the old updates that were listed there and added the official synopsis to it.

Looks much more nicer now

A lot of the original posts were not to nice to Reynolds

If you mean the first ones in this thread, those were left over from the old thread when it was rumored to be Justin Timberlake as the Lantern

I always meant to get a mod to remove them once it became this thread but forgot, so your post reminded me to remove them

As far as I can tell most people are fine/excited with him as Lantern.

I'm the latter. Can't wait to see some footage and see how he does. Reports from the set has that he has been taking the role very seriously and getting into it.

I'm sure there are still some who don't like it though.

Last pic is not too too bad, I like it. Not a huge fan of the character but I will go see it for sure. Will be a little weird to see a movie on DC Comics and it won't be Supie or Batie

Exactly. This is the test for Warner Bros. to see if they can branch out from the two big names they have. Though it is kind of weird that they would go with riskier titles before this like V for Vendetta and Watchmen

If Lantern knocks it out of the park, we have a much better chance of seeing other heroes get movies like Flash.

The muscle striations in the suit kind of remind me of Slim Goodbody or something.
I can't decide, yet, whether or not I think it's too goofy.

Green Arrow (Warner Bros could make things right and give Kevin Smith the chance to write a superhero scrip after Warner Brothers decided to dump Superman Lives and let Tim Burton blame it on him, before. Writing Green Arrow would be great for Smith, being that he already wrote for the comics.)

Marvel got their Steve Ditko character on the screen, let DC do theirs. I don't even much care for DC comics but The Creeper kicks ass.

Otherwise, I think WB should take a cue from Marvel and do a series of origin pictures: Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter and, maybe, even a Deadman/Spectre thing, leading up to a JLA movie. The similarities between the franchise schemes would be worse than obvious but I don't think fans or audiences would care.

The costume looks awesome but I do agree that it needs a little bit more black, still looks great though.

The outfit looks interesting. I'll be interested to see how well the animation is done in this one. Hopefully, it doesn't look too fake. However, every time I see Blake Lively it reminds me of those previews I've seen on occasion for that annoying teenie bopper show on the CW.
