Default Let this happen very quickly !

Mass production begins
THE SHORTAGE of blue laser diodes which has hamstrung the development of Blu-ray and HD-DVD might be coming to an end.
Sharp has begun mass production of blue-laser diodes at a new factory in Japan. According to Digitmag, Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD player costs have been kept high because of the shortage of the blue laser diodes. This has prevented the market from developing as the take up on players has been restricted by high prices.
A spokesSharp said that the new line at its factory in Mihama, Hiroshima prefecture will produce 150,000 diodes a month. Later in 2007 it will increase this to 500,000 diodes per month and also begin making higher power models for use in disk writers.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
WE all are praying for this and waiting for 200-300$ burners as quckly as possible ! Go on SHARP !
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Few companies make the diodes and the addition of Sharp's output to the market could bring down prices.
