Default PS3 HDMI Question
I just purchased a PS3 and one big reason for getting it was to play Blue-ray movies. However I was a little concerned with this statement in the manual.

"Copyright-protected Blu-ray video discs can only be output at 1080p using an HDMI cable connected to a device that is compatible with the HDCP (Highbandwidth Digital Content Protection) standard."

I don't own a 1080p TV yet nor do I plan to buy one in the near future. I have two HD TV's, a year old Samsung LCD that has HDMI and an older Panasonic projection with component inputs. Will I be able to watch Blu-ray movies with the PS3 on either of these sets? I haven't opened it since I may decide to return it.
