Talking Onkyo Txsr905 Receiver Help Pleasseeeeeeeee!!
Hi there. I was told on this site a while ago that when u put bit stream on the ps3 through hdmi 1.3a, it sends the signal to the receiver (this being the NEW 905) so it can upconvert it. Ok it says on the manual that the 905 can convert dts hd master audio and dbly hd. Well it didn't do it and i set it on the ps3 to bitstream and the blu ray to dts master audio. Nothing showing dts hd master audio or lossless.

Then i was told by another of u that INSTEAD of doing that, to set the ps3 to linear pcm, then i should see it come out on the receiver. Guess what, no dts hd master audio or lossless. I have a 7.1 klipsh quintet II system with the 10" Klipsh sub with banana plus, 16 guage speaker wire to the 905. TV is a Sony Bravia XBR2.

Can ANYONE be KIND ENOUGH to help me to maximize this set up and show me HOW to get this to show because i spent all this money and i still can't get it to work. I called ONKYO and they were NO HELP at all. PLease help, thanks
