Default Latinos con Blu-ray

Hi everyone... I didn't really know how to start this thread, but there is something I've been trying to say about us... the ones who live in latinamerica. I live in Mexico, and I support Blu.. I am a proud PS3 owner, with 11 movies and 7 games and counting. I know we can't consider latinamerican countries as a measure for us to know how Blu is winning over HD-DVD. Just for information I will try explain you facts about how people sees basically HD down here:

1. Mexican laws won't support HD format till 2022.
2. Most of those buying HD Widescreen TV sets (either plasma or lcd) think that is the only thing they need to have HD. They hook up everything using RCA cables: air, cable or satellite (analog and 4:3 ratio) and magically they have HD!!! Of course, they use the "full screen 16:9" option in the menu to have a "bigger image" (WTF?????).
3. There are non HD programming available.
4. We have only 1 Satellite TV company and 3 Cable operators in the whole country.
5. Worst of all: piracy sells are up to 75% of total DVD Movies and Music CDs.
6. People don't understand the diference between SD and HD, they just watch TV.
7. It's funny, if you go to Cotsco, for example, and ask any salesman about HD sets or diferences in 720p and 1080p... they just walk away.

and I could add a lot more... this is sad when I try to talk about my country and the way people behave. I am lucky, I live by the border with USA and I can get all my Blu stuff with no problems at all. And I am really into new technology, my wife says I am a technogeek...
Hopefully, one they the whole world will be blu!!

So, lets keep heads up... we are winning!!!

Thanks a lot Amigos!! I needed this words...
Best,
DJ Headd

Proudly Mexican... Proudly Blu
