Default Great presence of Blu-ray at Comic Con 2008

This year it felt like Blu Ray had quite the strong presence at the Comic Con in San Diego. The main Venues (Hall H, Room 20) had HD high lumen projectors and most likely Blu Ray players attached to them (you'll see why).
Overall it was a great presentation to the public imo, and one very likely to push for the success of this media.
This is probably not -all- the venues where Blu Ray was talked about, but this is where I was...

Thursday, presentation of the new Day the Earth Stoof still (with Keanu Reeves, Jennifer connelly), Max Payne (Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis) and a surprise show up by Hugh Jackman and first images of Wolverine in HD trailer.
Blu Ray is already mentionned as a support.

Friday, Stargate Day (well Star Wars too, but no time for that). We saw the Stargate Continuum presentation, and the Blu Ray version was presented and pushed quite a bit to the fans. And indeed, it looks great.
Next, the Blu Ray pannel (interesting, if nothing earth shattering for the initiated). Good plug for the public to ask questions. Good moderation by Mr Hunt , also in a later pannel, Resident Evil Degeneration will look obviously amazing in Blu Ray (CGI movie following RE 4).

Saturday, Heroes pannel. Not only do we have the -entire- cast present (save Micah), but Tim Kring, creator of the show, is bringing the entire first episode of season 3 "Villains" ... burned on Blu Ray (he showed it to the camera) ... to treat the audience. It was just amazing tbh
The audience cracked up when
[Show spoiler] Sylar got to open Claire's skull, her regenerating the whole time and thus not dying, and starting to forage in her brain. She asks " Are you going to eat my brain?" And Him to respond " EAT YOUR BRAIN? That would be disgusting ..." Major Lol in the audience due to the guesses for 2 years on what Sylar actually does to someone's brain.

There was also a big laugh when a cute kid asked a question to the actor playing Sylar but calling him "Silo".
Not only that, but Universal pushed the upcoming Season 1 & 2 on Blu Ray with a long trailer showing the goods on HD, pushing hard Blu Ray and the footage just looked awesome
Last but not least, the Battlestar Galactica pannel.
The Blu Ray release is mentionned by Kevin Smith, but also great, a flyer concerning the Abraham Project is passed along to every single attendee (probably more than 1000). PS3 owners interested in Resistance: FoM2 will know what it relates to
Kattee was amazing, as well as the other members of the cast imo.

Quick word on the videogame section.
The Xbox booth was kinda pathetic and with little visitors when I was nearby, with Too Human being presented (and quite underwhelming), while the PS3 had a very strong presence with the amazing looking Naruto (3-4 station playable), LBP (looks amazing, the bag LBP was -very much- in demand), and many others. Only regret, there 2 "Xbox" pannels (1 for the Halo franchise, and another more generic), and no "Playstation/Blu Ray" ones cept the Digital bits one. The Sony booth had an Aston Martin (real one) though, for the presentation of Quantum of Solace, which attracted a lot of people
