I noticed you pointed out a few of the "newer" novels to take off. Were you aware that George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series has been optioned by HBO?

It'll be one of those shows that, like Rome, I'll have to purchase HBO for and then buy the series when it comes out. Here's to hoping that HBO will put something other than the Soprano's on blu.

That is, if Martin survives to write the books. At his pace, he'll end up the same as Robert Jordan, dead before the last one is written.
