And since they had BDs on sale for ~$7 recently (Master & Commander, anyone?), it is not too far-fetched for this to be so low. Only exception is that it is only 1.5 months old and is far from a standard single-disc BD release.

No it has never happened to me. I'm usually late to these deals.

Now that I think about it I don't remember Amazon ever doing something like that, it's always been another site. I'm sure they have something in writing where if they make a typo and list a $100 item for $1 they can cancel the order. It's more of a PR thing at that point.
