Yeah, although I didn't get to see really any of the other performers, he is one of my early favorites that I'll be pulling for. He just has something different that stands out for me.

Ashton's my favorite among the ones who made the cut tonight. She's really good! Can't wait to see the rest tomorrow. Too much drama though that drags the show, surprisingly from J Lo. I'll gladly take her place getting paid millions to judge.

100% agree with you..the put 4 people thru in a 1hr show, what a load a crock they really need to turn the drama down big time and get on with the show..enough of the back story already.

They used Chris Medina story form the auditions right down to last night show only to

I'm glad he got replaced if true and Number 2 on that list should not of made it either. They are both ok singers but they are the type that always last longer than they should.

Its getting intense guys haha. The talent this year like I said is fabulous. That was kinda sad that dude didnt make it through that J-Lo was crying about. What a very sad story and for what he is doin is great but again it is about singin and although he wasnt bad he most likely didnt deserve a top 24 spot. Got Em!!

Yea I think by far this may be the most talented group ever! My early favorites if I remember them correctly would be:

Guys
Jacob Lusk
Casey Abrams
Jordan Dorsey
James Durbin

Girls
Lauren Alaina
Pia Toscano

Its a lil tougher this year as again there is a lot of talent but these are the selections I like the most so far with the exception of Durbin. I like the kid but the reason I selected him is because he seems like the next Alex Lambert and we saw how far he went lol. Got Em!!

Yep Pia is great and great looking. And yes I listed Lauren (singing Aerosmith) also as they are my top two girls. Julie and Jovany are cool but I dont think they will go far. Whether season five is better or not this season is one of the best still. Got Em!!

Apparently Casey Abrams was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday with stomach pains and is being held overnight. If he's not released by the time they tape the performances today they are cutting him from the show. No word if he will be replaced.

Alright, one of us needs to change our favorites then because we can't agree! Where's the fun in that?

I don't know how far Jovany or Julie will go as they aren't as good as the other two that I like, but they are definitely pretty good.

It is definitely better than last year. Early on I thought it was worse than even that one but then as it went on I started to notice people who are definitely better than anything we got last year.
