Currently my TV is 720p native, but will go 1080i. No complaints and in no hurry to upgrade. Im just waiting and hoping Sony makes a 60" LCD Bravia and then I'll upgrade. Oh and Im not gonna pay 32k$ for the 70" LCD Bravia they have listed, unless I win the lottery.
