Hey guys, I some questions regarding internet speed and wireless home networking. Currently, I have Clearwire as my ISP and also have Wireless Home Networking set-up using a Linksys Wireless Home Router. Anyways, my roommate just got a new laptop and wants to connect it to my home network. Whenever he connects, does it slow down my "internet speed" at all in anyway? I just recently purchased Warhawk and noticed that my Ping is somewhat high and I am leaning towards increasing the bandwidth speed just to make it lower, but how does someone connecting to my wireless home network affect my overall speed? Does it at all? I am thinking of charging him half of what I pay if I share my network, but I need to know first how does this whole home network play out? Your input would be great. Thanks.
