mparks29 Junior Member Member since:Dec 2006	Accepts 1080p 24hz signal Why doe my tvs spec say it can accept a 1080p signal at 24hz but when I set my pioneer blu ray player at 1080p the tv just flickers on and off. The signal that is. I have a pioneer pro1540. I have everything running through the pioneer elite 82 series with hdmi. I am thinking its because my receiver cant handle it. Do you think I should just run the hdmi cable straight to the tv? Would the picture quality be any more better if it was run that way and the bd player was set to 1080p? Right now its set at 1080i 24hz and it looks great..All opinions welcome please..
