Default BD movies in 1080P @24Hz?

anybody kno if there are any Blu Ray movies out now that are in 24HZ??

There probably are only a handful that are NOT. Almost all film content is 1080p/24 on Blu-ray discs, in ALL regions.

Not all the players output 24p. But, many do. And the PS/3 has the auto and forced modes for this.

They're all 24hz, only thing that matters is if your tv can display it

o i c i have a recently new 73" Mitsu 1080P DLP. how would i find out if it is capable of it? ...also i went to my settings and switched it from Auto to On and nothing bad happen. does this mean it is capable??? thanks

Yes, when you choose 'ON' the PS3 switches to 24Hz temporarily and asks if the screen is displaying correctly, press nothing for 30secs and it switches back. That's for if your tv doesn't support it and goes blank for the 30secs.

You got through without a blank screen so you should be ready to go.
