In the past, when I've played a movie with a 'Dolby TrueHD' or 'DTS-MA HD' soundtrack, the Onkyo 876 receiver will show the respective logos/information on the display screen. All of a sudden, it now shows ALL movies decoded as 'MCH PCM'.
I may be wrong, but I'm guessing that technically this shouldn't matter with the sound, it's just that I'm wondering what happened to make the receiver suddenly change the way it operates? If anyone knows why this happened and/or how I can maybe change it back, I would appreciate it, thanks in advance! |
