Inspired by the ugly Blu-Ray artwork thread as there are DVD cases that have better covers than their Blu-Ray counterpart.
For me: ![]() Casino Royale - Not only is the thick box sweet, but it doesn't have the stupid "Experience High Definition" banner censoring Bond's gun! Crash - The Director's Cut DVD had Special Features (Blu-Ray was bare bones) on Disc 2 plus it didn't have LionsGate's lame "silver spine". ![]() Gladiator - Much better than the Extended Edition cover they recycled for the Blu-Ray. ![]() Halloween (2007) - Best Buy had an exclusive holographic slipcase featuring the theatrical poster. Superior to the closeup of Michael's face on the BR. ![]() Iron Man - The BR cover is fine, but I'm a sucker for Steelbooks, but I got the DVD version since I refused to pay top dollar to import the BR steelbook.
