None...all of my Blu-ray titles are in the Blu-ray cases.

If I already have the title on DVD and then buy the Blu-ray of the same title, I take the DVD version and trade it in at my local used media store to try and pick up some additional Blu-ray movies...if I swapped around the discs in the cases I wouldn't be able to do that.

Why? I'd want to get rid of that shelf hog.

I'd never put a BD in a DVD case, but I have taken some DVDs and made my own combo packs in BD cases.

I'm too anal about trying to keep my shelves as constant as possible. If I have a row of blu-rays, I don't want random DVD cases mixed in. They're taller and thicker. Does not blend at all.

I'd prefer to keep in in the Blu-ray case, no matter how unfortunately bad it looks. I'm not too bothered, really.

You wouldn't like my shelves then. All my Blus are alphabetized in with my DVDs.

I have put DVDs in BD cases, but not BDs in DVD cases. For example, I wanted all of the extras for Predator so I put Disc 2 of the DVD in with the 2008 release. That way I didn't have to buy Predator: The Ultimate DNR Edition to get the extras. I did the same with Disc 2 of the Master & Commander 2 Disc DVD set.

I would do the opposite, take a special features disc or dvd disc and make my own combo, but never take out BD disc and place it in Dvd case, it just would'nt make sense to me to mixing dvd cases w/ bd cases

I would never house a Blu-ray in a DVD case, no matter how much nicer the boxart is. It's bad enough that my digibooks stand out on my shelves, having DVD cases in there would bug the hell out of me. I tend to get rid of a DVD movie I replace on Blu-ray as soon as possible.

I have done the opposite though, like putting DVD's in a Blu-ray case if the special features were more robust. I did this for The Devil's Rejects for example, it's now a 3-Disc set.
