World War II references:

D-day was the Allied invasion of Europe at Normandy. It was the beginning of the end for the war.

V-E Day was the day that the war in Europe officially ended with the surrender of Nazi Germany.

V-J Day was the end of the war in the Pacific with the surrender of Japan (though after two nuclear bombs were dropped, thats where the analogy kind of breaks down)

This thread is mainly to encourage people to continue to buy Blu-ray, so there is no doubt that we finish off HD DVD and the fact that there are some bad ass Movies out right now.
