Default Opinions on extended warranty?

not sure if this is the right thread to post this in so mods feel free to move it if you need to... i have a samsung ln55c650 which i will have had for a year at the end of this month... so the factory warranty will be expiring and i received a letter in the mail today about an extended warranty plan... it costs $325 for 3 years of coverage... i did have the panel replaced just a few days after i originally bought it but that was due to clouding/flashlighting issues, so it wasn't due to anything out of the blue just breaking down and has been perfect since... i also have an lnt4671f that is 3-4 years old and it is still going strong, no problems at all... granted i haven't used it much at all in the past year since i bought the 55" but it still works perfectly... now that being said, do you think it would be a good idea to get the extended warranty?... i take pretty good care of my stuff so i'm not really worried about it getting physically damaged... but on the other hand if something did break and they had to replace the tv and my model is no longer available i may be able to step up to a better tv for free or alot less than buying it out of pocket... just looking for peoples opinions and/or experiences (specifically with samsung)
