yeah i just cancelled my DirecTV today:

(1) signed up for 54.99 package "HD INCLUDED"...got my bill: $84 (yep, the 54.99 is NOT with HD, its $10 extra)
(2) I live in FLA (lots thunderstorms) and salesperson said "no, they won't affect service, only hurricanes"...every bad T-storm knocks out service
