So I currently own a HD television which is NOT capable of handling 1080p resolution, only 720p (native) and 1080i. Lets say with this television I'm watching a standard DVD movie in 720p on the latest Oppo up-converter product and later connect any blu-ray player to watch the same movie although in blu-ray disc format in 720p.
Obviously the blue-ray player is downconverting the image from 1080p, but I'm curious if the difference is noticeable to the human eye from standing say 6 feet away. Thanks |
