Default Coaxial Cables

I recently swap my Digital receiver to HD receiver from Time Warner and been watching few local channels in HD, overall I'm satisfied with the PQ, I can say above DVD but below Blu-ray quality and way better than analog channels. My question is, I have been using this coaxial cable (Not sure where I got it, I think it was in Japan) from wall to the HD receiver, it is of the plug in type and not the one you screw to connect it, the cable is also very thin and not the regular type cable we usually see. My question is if I buy a high quality coaxial cable will I see a difference? better? I'm thinking about getting one from Monoprice. The cost of the cable is less than the shipping
