Digital Coaxial? - Blu-ray Forum

I got a bluray player on black friday at walmart. It was the $78 Magnavox one. Unfortunately it doesn't have optical audio, but has digital coaxial. Can I get 5.1 Surround Sound through the digital coaxial? Thanks.
