Default Extended Warranty on Samsung LN-T4665F?

I've got about 3 more weeks if I decide to buy Circuit City's extended protection plan. More than my concern about actual component failure, I like the coverage that the plan claims to provide (replacement if it can't be fixed, stuff not covered by the manufacturer). With the exception of Apple Care on my Macs, I never buy extended warranties, but on products that are both pricey and impossible to service myself, it seems reasonable - if the extended warranty delivers when I need it. I've read a few horror stories, and suggestions that there are other, better companies to deal with, etc. What's the consensus here? And, for those that do suggest an extended warranty, whose do you suggest? Thanks!

Mark
