Default My Mitsu WD-65731 and 1080p24?

Hello, first time poster.

As the subject suggests I have a Mitsubishi WD-65731. I've been very happy with it.

I'm looking to make the jump to Blu-Ray but I want to know if my tv can display 1080p24 natively (or to a multiple like 120), or if it converts it to another signal like 1080p60.

If it displays 1080p24 I plan on getting a dedicated Blu-Ray player to take advantage of this. Any suggestions on make/model?

If it converts to another format I plan on getting the PS3 since I hear that only outputs 1080p60 and call it a day.

Thanks in advance!
