I really, really, really, really, really, love that Water for Elephants slip. I finally got the chance to go through Target's stupid forcefields and find one with as little damage as possible. It's gorgeous. Just watched Cowboys & Aliens. Fun movie. Yeah, some of these pictures are blurry. I might have gotten too close a couple of times. Oh well.

I set a goal for myself, I hit 450 BDs on 11/15/11. My goal was to hit 500 BDs by the end of the year, 50 BDs in 45 days. Rules were no blind buying crap, only getting things I absolutely wanted (and of course rare slipped NEW BDs). Now between the amazing black friday deals, best buy's awesome digibook and gift card deal, I've hit that goal in three weeks.

There's now a fun story to this too. Yesterday I swore I hit 500 BDs when I picked up two more at best buy, they even had a mini-celebration for me. When I came home I realized my count was off by one because have 6 coming in the mail and I accidentally added one I didn't receive yet to my actual count.

A close friend of mine wanted to get me my 500th so he made me stop buying today, though I had more coming in the mail. My rule is it isn't mine, it's not in my collection until I receive it and scan it (movie tracker apps). So today a girlfriend of mine found out and the race was on... who can get me my 500th (though technically I believe I've bought every single one so far).



So without further adieu, tonight's haul...
