Will there be any discernible difference in quality of a Blu Ray Disc versus a standard (widescreen/letterboxed) DVD if you are playing both of them on a standard-definition (4:3) television?...
I only ask because my parents have no concept of technology. My dad came over to my house recently and loved Guitar Hero 3 on my 60" 1080p, so my mom wants to get it for him for his birthday. She didn't understand that you couldn't just buy GH3, and that you actually needed a CONSOLE to play it on... ...I'm trying to build up arguments to justify her spending the $270 cost difference between a PS2 and a PS3 to go with the PS3. My p's have only standard-def TVs (although my dad has been talking for years about wanting a decent tv set). So, yeah - back to my original question....that's why I was asking. Anyone know the answer??? ![]() |
