So despite this being pulled from release, Amazon still are taking pre-orders on it and mine hasnt been cancelled yet. Very weird. You would have thought by now they would have taken it off the site and cancelled pre-orderes like they have done with Volcano.

Wonder why the UK is treated so poorly? Do we not spend enough on media? Why do we have import?

It feels like the idea of Blu Ray is so behind the times and weak. You'd think by now, 2012 the same titles would be avaliable worldwide not some here, some in Germany, USA, Italy ... so backward.

Italy have They Live! Why only there? Criterion only release in USA. Are they that much of a backward thinking company?

So I can only buy The Termonator buy importing it, having a naff slim can't read the spine, US blu ray box. Although this movie had been release on every other format before, any many times over.

They release movies belonging to other companies. There are all sorts of rights issues involved. Look at Godzilla, they has to negotiate with Toho and Classic Media to get that release out there. Many movies have different distributors in the UK, and that's just more people to negotiate with.

US only releases keep things simple for them.

Just sitting here thinking its weird that I sold my Terminator DVD in 2007 thinking it couldn't be long before this immensely popular film received a UK release. Here we are 5 flippin years later and were still not a 100% sure what is going on. I am going to do my nut if after all this time we just get a copy of the US release!

That's just a placeholder and has been there ever since Terminator Salvation came out, so don't be expecting a box set anytime soon.

But anyway, that steelbook is so slick - a definite pre-order.

It's nice art, but they STILL get "The Terminator" font/logo wrong! Why is it so hard for both this and T2?!
