I have no info on the disc specs, however as it is the same distributor as it is in the US, it will most likely be the same.

LAME! When is the Ultimate Edition coming? There's like 10 of them on DVD, yet none on Blu Ray...

The release date is now listed on Amazon, however no it is not yet available to pre-order.

I believe Lowry have been working on a restoration since about 2009, I wonder whether this is any indication that the new transfer is almost ready and will be here next year. Great to see this film is finally getting a UK release.

This info seems to all be about the DVD.

Although you said it's from the same co as the US release, I'm hoping for an awesome transfer.

It's not the DVD, it's the Blu-ray.
Amazon just say 'DVD Release Date' on all of they're Blu-ray listings.

Allways have been tempted to import USA version. But in no rush so will just wait and see what the disc specs are. Good to see it finally getting a release here though.

Given the fact Species was put on a BD25 but using AVC in the UK compaired to the US which was using MPEG2 for its release I Hold out hope that they would be releasing an AVC release of Terminator in the UK.

I will be glad if this finally does get released in the UK since it is the last one on my list out of the Terminator films to get.

The blue banner looks awful, but hopefully they'll be a steelbook or something... It would match the T2 one

I love the look of the present US Blu-ray.

Not sure what people are expecting but if it's DNR-smudge they might not get it as MGM like to copy/paste their encodes around the world.
