Wake up, sheep.
That is more insulting than offering a fan favourite map for free as a part of an entire pre-order package...

I take it once you woke up you stopped buying GH titles right, because you know those are just recycled too

Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor and composer Jack Wall are doing the soundtrack for this game.

I thought the OST for the first Black Ops was crappy, so I have faith in the two for making BLOPS2's music.

Got a call from EB Games last night (Canada) advising me of my pre order code for Nuketown 2025 and telling me to register it immediately.

They claim the cutoff is tonight, so if you haven't registered the code to your PSN account email, you won't be getting Nuketown.

Apparently Nuketown, like the posters, are a limited time bonus as part of the 4 wave system they have for pre orders. Wave one - posters, wave two - Nuketown, waves 3 & 4 - TBA.

I wonder if that is Canada only issue as I have not received any other correspondence other than my initial pre-order voucher.

Addendum: I went to my local GameStop this morning & inquired about this & i was told that the code for Nuketown would be included on my receipt. Just like all other pre-order DLC before. I did pre-order this in June when the first wave began though.

Thats the stuff that was leaked last month after E3, posted at the Gaf an was reposted here but then we had the database loss. The podcast was edited and re posted with the Black Ops 2 part completely removed, but can be found online if you look hard enough.

I'd completely forgoten about it thanks for re posting

Anyway new MP details leaked...

MP classes will work on a points system.

10 point allocation system replaces primary/secondary/grenades slot system
Guns, attachments, equipment, perks take up allocation points

for example you could have 2 primary weapons which would use most of your points and only have 1 perk.

Or No guns but lots of perks, so you could get a knife kill, steal a gun and make good on all the perks you choose.

New wager match variations.

Everyone starts with a machine pistol and 1 emp grenade, you have to disable and hack drones to get more kills, only way to get more emp grenades is to take them from another player.

1 point = flashbang/grenade

4 + 2 +3 + 1 = 10

which would be the classic set up

Or, maybe you could mix things up. Just have all perks and a knife and then just pick up a gun from a dead boddy.

Activision Applies For Black Ops II Trademarks, Including ‘There’s a Soldier in All of Us’

Activision has recently applied for a few Black Ops II-related trademarks, according to Fusible. The trademarks include the following:

The Roman Numeral II

Obviously, the number “2″ in the Black Ops II logo is in roman numerals.

The Future is Black

First tagline used for the game was “The Future is Black”, as featured in the premiere trailer.

There’s a Soldier in All of Us

We’re not really sure what to make of this one. However, we know that the multiplayer reveal should be next month, and “There’s a Soldier in All of Us” was used as the tagline of a live action trailer to promote the multiplayer component in the original Black Ops.

You're absolutely right, GH titles are even worse. I don't think I've collectively spent $60 on GH games, but the $180 on CoD games and I'm not itching to make it $240.

But to each their own, yes, it is a fan favorite map. And I didn't realize they were doing preorder waves, so we'll see what comes next.

Don't think i've ever been excited for a COD campaign, but this one does have me intrigued. Though i really don't want to spend 60 bucks on a COD game since i'll basically only play the campaign, since i've grown to hate the multiplayer of the franchise in the more recent titles, with the exception of the Zombie mode. I just can't justify buying it solely for the campaign, based on the length of the previous COD campaigns. I'll probably borrow it from a friend.

$300 Black Ops II Headset Detailed, Presets Optimized By Treyarch and Prompts Recorded by Voice Actors

New details have emerged about one of the Black Ops II-themed Turtle Beach headsets, the high-end Ear Force Tango. Priced at $300, the Ear Force Tango will have a slew of features packed in.

However, there are two features that seem to be exclusive to the Black Ops II Ear Force Tango. Unlike the other Ear Force headsets and other Black Ops II headsets, which you can check out on here, the Ear Force Tango line will be pre-loaded with exclusive audio presets designed by the studio behind Black Ops II, Treyarch. Also, the voice prompts are recorded by the actual voice actors in Black Ops II.

The headset is set to release on October 23rd, and will be compatible on the Xbox 360 and PS3.

According to the Amazon listing (via Examiner), here is the full list of features:
  • Black Ops II Optimized Exclusive Presets – The Ear Force Tango comes pre-loaded with exclusive custom audio presets designed by Treyarch to optimize the game experience. Or configure personalized presets of your own to optimize game, chat and mic audio for different gaming situations.
  • Black Ops II Voice Prompts – Voice prompts recorded by the actual voice actors in Black Ops II announce when the headset is powering on, pairing, battery is low, and more.
  • Memory Foam Ear Cushions – Premium materials for enhanced comfort and styling.
  • Dolbyฎ Digital 5.1 Surround Sound – Immersive 360 degree audio lets you pinpoint the direction of every sound.
  • 2.4/5 GHz Dual-Band Wi-Fi – Selects the optimum frequency in the 2.4 GHz/5 GHz spectrums, virtually eliminating interference.
  • Dual-Pairing Bluetooth – Chat wirelessly, answer mobile phone calls or listen to streaming music while gaming.
  • Adjustable Surround Sound Angles – Alter the positioning of the surround sound angles to customize your audio experience.
  • Voice Morphing – Disguise your voice by changing the sound from deep lows to screeching highs.
  • Sonic Lens™ with Sound Field Expander – Widen or narrow the sound field to focus on sound cues that are difficult to hear like enemy footsteps.
  • Ear Guard ™ with Blast Limiter – Limits the intensity of deafening sounds like explosions and gunfire.
  • Wireless Xbox Live and PSN Chat – Enjoy complete wireless freedom without the need for chat cables.
  • Rechargeable Battery – Provides up to 15 hours of uninterrupted gameplay and can be recharged while gaming.
  • Variable Microphone Monitor – Adjust the level of your voice heard in the headset, so you won’t have to shout.
  • Digital Optical Connection – Delivers the highest quality of digital surround sound.
