I loved Halo and hated Halo 2. You had/have so many different ways to play the level in Halo or RFOM.

Now that I've gone thru RFOM on the medium level I'm enjoying it much better than Halo. Halo (not Halo 2) was the only reason I hadn't completely retired our Xbox and now it's officially out to pasture. The music on Halo was a big factor of it's success - it's just superb in pulling you in - but the gun selection in RFOM is just killer now for me.

Try playing some of the levels restricting yourself to the non-traditional guns if you really want to push the re-playability even further. There is a lot of depth in RFOM. Far more than Halo and well Halo 2 is a non-starter.

Two players synchronizing their snipers in a slow-mo close-up to the head shot is a hoot.

The multi-player on-line is simply superb...
Yes, I know I just played a demo, I'll sit down an play the game when I visit my friends in April. I'm just not as impress with it has I was when I played Halo at my local game store before it came out. Of course RFOM has better graphics, physics, etc... It should your looking at 2006 game compare to a 2001 or even 2004 (Halo 2).

True the music was a big factor when playing any game.

I'm open minded to RFOM and will play it in April. Will it be game that i still want to play after 6 years, well that's the question.

Gears of War is one of the best graphics in a game I've seen, but to me is seems a little short and there's little re-playability
