Default Samsung BD-P1200 firmware 2.2 available.

I went to Samsung's site to get version 2.1 for the BD-P1200, only to see that version 2.2 is now available.

After I loaded it into the player, I first inserted '3:10 to Yuma' and the player didn't recognize the disc. I was more than a little peeved, but just for the fun of it, I loaded Disney's 'Pirates, At World's End' and it played right off. So too did the 'Pixar Shorts.' So I reloaded 'Yuma' and this time it played. Then I tried 'Across the Universe', and it too played. So far as I know for now, those are the only movies that didn't play on the 1200.

If Samsung is going to give us timely firmware updates from now on, then I'll keep the 1200, rather than spend up to $600 (or more) for the Panasonic 50. Or at least I'll keep the Sammy for the foreseeable future. It displays a great picture, and hasn't frozen up on me so far.
