Default Bd-P1200 Firmware help

I recently noticed that there is a v2.5 firmware update available for download but not through the ethernet port (why have the damn thing Samsung?!!). My question is how the heck do I upgrade in this fashion? I followed a how to guide provided by Samsung on their website however it uses a Nero Express program which I do not have. Can anyone tell me how to go about this simply using Windows Vista? Or do I need to download another program? Any assistance would be appreciated, I haven't burned a disc since I bought a MP3 player years ago and I am now useless in this department.

Thanks in advance!

Do you have any program that allows you to burn a file as an image onto a disc? I believe the basic Nero program is free to download but I could be wrong.

Ok, I managed to download some burning software with an image burn option. I popped in a dvd-rw and burned the iso file as an image than following the steps on the samsung website I popped the disc into my player. A few moments later it reads "This disc can not be played" than the disc tray opens itself. What am I doing wrong here? Samsung has frustrated me endlessly with this player, Super Troopers and all the James Bond movies will not play! (Among other titles) They just sit and collect dust on my shelf.

Yea that was the case, thankfully I was able to return the blank DVD's and buy some CD's. Haven't bought CDs in years! I think now that I have updated my firmware I may just return the CDs to if they let me!
