I just got an SVS 20-39 PC+ a few weeks ago and that thing can really drop some low notes. It might be overkill if you don't listen to music with a heavy bottom end, like rock or pipe organs etc. The other thing that really impressed me with the SVS is that it has a Parametric Equilizer (PEQ) on the amp to take out any bumps in the frequency response caused by your room. It really is an incredible sub, and while I have the model just above the PCi, I expect that the PCi will be able to give you more than you bargained for.
