An interesting question asked by the member chris_sc77 in the Cloud Atlas thread, does Hollywood take enough financial risks with the projects that they bring to the screen now? Should they be funding more challenging and original ideas, rather than sticking to superheroes and Hobbits? Might be an interesting debate, depending on your view of Hollywood as a whole. I know it's been touched on in various threads and couldn't find a dedicated one for it.
