I'm sure that those sales are boosted by the fact that the PS3 is far and away the best Blu-ray player for your money at this point in time, and is the only one in the sub $1000 price range that is guaranteed to have BD-Live capability at some point. If you want a Blu-ray player right now, then you buy a PS3. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I bought my PS3 solely for it's BD capabilities and the ability to act as a media hub so I can watch HD downloads on my 46" Sammy. I have one game that I played maybe twice. The rest of my games are all on the Xbox 360. While the PS3 excels for BD and multimedia, it falls flat for gaming. Just look at those pathetic game sales for proof of that.
