Initially, the intent was to have two of each. One sealed, other opened. Couldnt bring myself to open them, hence the amaray collection. Other is for trade now. And I still have five more shelves elsewhere with steelbook dupes. Only recently, have I stoppped buying two of each.

I recently got rid of a lot of movies. By a lot, I mean close to 3,000 DVDs and 300+ Blu-rays. As a result, I decided to build a new case to house my entire collection. Before, I had all of my DVDs in one room and my Blu-rays in a separate room. This time, they're all together.

I built the case on Monday and I painted it between Monday and Tuesday. Today, I transferred all of my movies into this case. The left side of my case has all of my Blu-rays, Blu-ray collections, Blu-rays in DVD Packaging, DigiBooks, and SteelBooks. The right side of the case has all of my Blu-ray and DVD Criterions, as well as the small amount of DVDs that are not offerred on Blu-ray yet. When these are released on Blu-ray, I will get rid of them. Lastly, I have my DVD SteelBooks on the bottom of the right side of the case. On the top of my case, I have several collections and collector's sets, and throughout the case, I have misc. collections and other trinkets scattered about. When I get a picture frame to house Lawrence Of Arabia, I more than likely will push Ben-Hur and Bond on their own ends, respectively.

That's not shrink-wrap. That's those plastic sleeves for steelbooks, but I honestly find them tacky.

It's nice to know that I'm not the only person who has over 900 Blus. Mine are all in 17-litre containers from Really Useful Boxes. They hold 52 or so regular Blu-Ray packages.

Actually, 95% of my steelbooks/metalpak.. are still sealed. [There's still another three shelves with my steelbook dupes, again sealed]

And about 30% of my amarays are still sealed.

Not that many new additions to my collection since my last update, but I'm up to 279 BD's now. Slowly creeping up on 300.
