I've been a directv customer since EVEN BEFORE HD.. (Yes I was one of the ones that paid $700 for their First HUGHES HD receiver) Since then, I've upgraded to a much nicer TV, I have the HR20-700 DVR...ABSOLUTELY LOVE directv...yes it's not the cheapest...but definately the best for HD content...hands down. Especially with them recently adding the On Demand Feature...I know they're releasing that new HR21 pro...but the price is pretty outrageous. I think you would be happy switching over at any time..plus they just dropped the price of their HD-DVR as well.
