If someone is a car buff, do you think just any car would be there prefer choose. No, that want a car with certain features. A vhs or dcd film just presence the film, at the expense of quality. Bluray and 3d aren't quite popular to make DVDs nonexistent. They are still expensive when compared to DVDs and VHS.

I guess all in all it depends on the film buff.

personally, i just cant watch crap formats any more. when i go to a friends house and i have to sit and watch a dvd on their $20 dvd player (connected to an hdtv of course), i just cringe (but i make it look like a smile). who are we to tell you what you like? enjoy.

I can handle watching old formats, but I prefer Blu-ray.
