Default Blu-ray vs SD DVD

Hello everyone, I was wondering if people here could offer me advice? I've got a lot of "old fashioned dvds" and am trying to decide if I should replace many of my movies with Blu-Ray, or if I should just start buying blu for the future. I have a Panasonic DMP-BD30K Blu Ray player, and the upconverting of movies seems pretty good... Any thoughts or suggestions? I'd rather not go spending a lot of $$ to replace my movies unless I have to. Thanks!
